If taking a trip to see the doctor isn’t your thing then this article is just for you. Right now you have the opportunity to take a few easy, but brilliant tests to evaluate your health.

All of them take less than a minute, and they can help you check to see what condition your body’s in. They are quick, easy, and fun tips for good health.

Test 1: The eyes

This test is pretty simple. Take three to five steps back from your monitor (yes, right now). Come on. Get up, get up!
All right, now close one eye and look at this circle:

Circle for eye test

Determine whether some of the lines appear darker than others. I’ll give you five seconds.

So did any lines appear darker than others? If the answer is yes, then you should visit an optician, because it’s likely you’ve developed astigmatism.

Test 2: Flexibility

To carry out this test, sit on the floor. Stretch your legs out in front of you. Try to touch your feet with the tips of your fingers. I’ll give you ten seconds to perform this exercise, okay?

So was it easy or hard? If you can do this with ease, then your body is in great shape! If it was difficult, then it would be a good idea to take up yoga, pilates, or swimming in order to improve your body’s flexibility and prevent excessive weakening of your joints.

Test 3: The Heart

First, sit calmly for five minutes in silence. Place four fingers on the inner side of your wrist. Find your pulse. Measure it for one minute, counting the number of beats.

For adults and children over 10, 60 to 100 beats per minute is considered normal. More or less may indicate problems with blood pressure. However, don’t try to make a diagnosis yourself – go and see a doctor.

Test 4: Fingers

Pour some cold water into a glass and dip your fingers in it for 30 seconds. If the tips of your fingers turn white or blue, then you have a problem with your blood circulation.

A significant drop in temperature or stress can cause contractions of the blood vessels that supply blood to the fingers, toes, nose, and ears.

As a result these parts of the body lack the right amount of blood and go numb. You should avoid sharp changes in temperature.

Test 5: The Respiratory System

Light a match and stretch the hand holding it out in front of you. Breathe in deeply through your nose and then out through your mouth, trying as you do so to blow out the flame.

How many attempts does it take you to blow out the flame? If it’s several then there’s a possibility you have a weak respiratory system. This could have been caused by smoking, a lack of exercise, or a chronic illness of the airways.

If this is you, it’s probably time to pay your doctor a visit.

Test 6: Fluid Retention

Here’s what you should do: press down on either the upper or underside of your foot with your thumb. Ready? Go!

If there is still an indentation on your foot several seconds after you’ve removed your thumb, then the chances are your body has an issue with fluid retention.

You should reduce the amount of salt in your diet and avoid consuming processed food products.

Test 7: The thyroid

Close your eyes and stretch your arms out in front of you. With palms up, spread your fingers out. Ask someone to place a thin sheet of paper on your hands.

Would you like to give it a try right now? I’ll give you ten seconds.

If the piece of paper begins to tremble along with your fingers, it’s worth going to see an endocrinologist.

Keep in mind that these tests are not in any way the basis for making a diagnosis, as they can be indications of various other illnesses. However, if you did notice any of the above symptoms, you shouldn’t ignore them

See a doctor for a detailed examination straight away. Don’t forget to share this post with those who take care of themselves.

Personal Journal-My Biggest Danger

Posted by on Dec 29, 2017 in Health & Fitness | 0 comments

I have lived a healthy lifestyle for over 5 years, in which I changed my life, beat the odds, and went against the norm. I worked nights, the dreaded midnight shift, and while others gained, I maintained a healthy weight. I have stuck to an exercise regiment at the gym.

I do alot of walking and lifting at work, and since I moved to the 15th floor, I use the stairs anytime it isn’t hot and humid outside. My doctor is worried, because he is over 10 years younger than me and my overall numbers are better than his.

I’ve inherited high cholesterol from my father, who died of dementia, and need prescription drugs to control it, unfortunately. I also have had high blood pressure since my 30s and need drugs to control it. You can’t help what you have inherited or what needs help to be controlled, I still consider myself lucky.

My biggest risk comes from aqnother source. A new study found that even healthy adults run a risk of stroke due to lack of sleep. This is my downfall and it scares me.

My doctor put me on ambien. The first time I slept for a solid 8 hours. The second time, I slept for only 4 and felt like a lifeless zombie the rest of the day. A warning is that unless you get 8 hours sleep on it it may have side effects. If you read current news, there have been people that are basically sleep walking and driving and such. No thanks.

So my doctor put me on sonic or zaleplon 10 MG. Got 4 hours sleep, so he upt it to 15. Got 5 hours and now I am going to call to say either up it to the max 20, or try something else. I tried almost everything that Dr. Oz has recommended…band-aid effect then nothing.

I decided to write this because insomnia has reached an epidemic in our society. Michael Jackson had a problem falling asleep, and although sleep will eventually win, wew have obligations such as families, jobs, and have to adjust to changing situations in our lives.

This is a guidepost entry as I journey to find a fulfilling sleep solution. Otherwise my healthy lifestyle is in vain.

A Quick Introduction to Enhancement for Men

Posted by on Jul 17, 2017 in Health & Fitness, Men's Lifestyle | 0 comments

There are so many enhancement products for men available that trying to choose one can be overwhelming. Whether bought over-the-counter or online, the male enhancement industry is booming and there seems to be no end in sight.

There are many advantages for the using OTC enhancement: it’s private, it’s cheaper, and it’s less likely to cause permanent damage compared to surgical alternatives.

These products come in a great many forms, and treat many different conditions, including erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, peyronie’s disease, low semen volume, and general penile enlargement. Knowing where to start with all of these choices can be a daunting task – but this article will aim to help narrow things down to a more manageable introduction.

There are basically four forms that sexual enhancement products for men come in: Pills/capsules, lotions/creams/gels, pumps, and extenders. Each has a unique application and works in a particular way.

Enhancement Pills – Besides the various pharmaceutical brands (such as Cialis and Viagra), there are natural supplements readily available in pill or capsule form for a variety of men’s sexual-related issues, from ED, to PE, to increasing semen production. These supplements are generally taken just once or twice daily and begin to deliver results within just a few days.

Lotions, Creams, and Gels – These products generally treat two types of conditions affecting men: erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. Typically, those products that treat premature ejaculation work by desensitizing the penis, thereby delaying orgasm.

The opposite effect is achieved with ED lotions, which act to enhance stimulation and blood flow to the penile tissues. These products can stimulate arousal and in many cases cause erection within mere moments of application.

Penis Pumps – By creating a prolonged suction of blood into the penile tissues, a gradual increase in size occurs. This result can be achieved by using either air pumps, or the more popular hydro pumps, such as those made by Bathmate and Penomet.

By repeating the process of engorging the penile tissues with blood for extended periods of time, especially in combination with the warm water of a hydro pump, you create the perfect environment for tissue growth and expansion.

Penis Extenders – Perhaps the most effective form of penile enlargement available, penis extenders have been scientifically proven to work, and are considered medical devices. These devices work by the process of cytokinesis, which is the division of cells through prolonged stretching.

Although not easy to use initially, once the learning curve is over most men find these devices minimally intrusive and using them becomes daily routine. Although not inexpensive, penis extenders are far less costly than surgery, and infinitely less dangerous.

Even though it can be difficult to wade through all of the choices initially, once you divide them into general categories selecting the right enhancement product becomes much easier. And most of these products are less expensive and much safer than either prescription drugs or plastic surgery.

By purchasing an enhancement device or supplement you’ll be able to reduce or even reverse the symptoms of sexual dysfunction, or increase the size of your penis without any visits to the doctor or invasive techniques.
